For the efficient administration of Mountain View SDA Church we have a team of leaders that oversee the running of the church. As a movement of God, we adhere to the principles outlined in the Bible with regards to the type of men to lead the church of God. The apostle Paul outlines the qualities in 1 Timothy 3v1-14..... 'A bishop must be blameless, and a husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach. Not given to wine, nor striker, not greedy of filthy lucre but patient, not a browler, not coveteous. One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity. For if a man know not how to rule well his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God. Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover he must bave agood report of them which are without lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil......

Who we are....
We are a member of the world-wide Seventh Day Adventist Church, centered in the township of Yeoville in Johhanesburg, South Africa. As we are looking forward to the Second Coming of the Lord, we have grown in Christ and in numbers such that the current worship place can nolonger accomodate us. Therefore we have decided to build a Sanctuary/Temple for the Lord so that we are all accomodated. The intended church is expected to carry an average of 750 people.
To this date God has been leading the project and so far a stand/site has been granted us. We are therefore kindly asking and appealing to donors/sponsors and well wishers to assist in cash or kind. The stand is pegged at ZAR 550.000.00. The roofing and the groundwork has been taken care of and the target at stake is paying for the stand/site. By the grace of God we kindly ask all who are willing to assist in this campaign
The site has since been located and its is in Pecry and Hendon Street in Yeoville JHB
